Week 9 – Back from the Beach


Well, I had a bit of a setback this week as I took the family to the beach and indulged in pretty much every dietary sin you can imagine.  I got a fair bit of exercise though, so it wasn’t a total loss.  As always, look after the jump for the gory details.

Details:

  • Diet this week included BBQ, Cheesecake, Birthday Cake, Burgers, Fries, Pizza, and Beer
  • Exercised by chasing my kid all over Daytona Beach and getting some swimming (pool and ocean) in.
  • Pretty much threw the diet away for a week, but back to normal now and feeling much better.

Results:

  • Current Weight:  318
  • Start Weight: 334
  • Goal Weight by 9/1/2009 (3 weeks): 300
  • Weight Loss to Date: 16 pounds (>2 pounds per week)
  • Weight loss by 9/1/2009 at current pace (12 week total): 23 pounds

Plan for this week:

  • Get back into a routine.
  • Resume lifting this week.
