There are a couple of reasons that I’m late with this week’s update, but, as always, you gotta read past the cut if you care enough to hear all about this.
First off, since my self-imposed deadline for this little challenge coincides with the start of Dragon*Con, it made sense to me to move the weigh-in day to Thursday.
The other reason is that I just plain didn’t get around to it on Monday.
Pick whichever excuse is more palatable to you.
In any case, this wasn’t exactly my best week. Lack of sleep, and a knee that won’t quite heal completely have put the kibosh on any notion of “routine”, and both my diet and my exercise suffered for it. I didn’t gain any weight, but I didn’t lose any either.
Details:

Results:
- Current Weight: 324
- Start Weight: 334
- Goal Weight by 9/1/2009 (7 weeks): 300
- Weight Loss to Date: 10 pounds (2 pounds per week)
- Weight loss by 9/1/2009 at current pace (12 week total): 24 pounds
Plan for this week:
- Read more labels, learn which “healthy foods” aren’t helping me from a carb standpoint.
- Get back into a routine.
