The next campaign will be full of Republican "strawmen" representing the old GOP's values. Having Limbaugh and Hannity as your mouthpieces isn't helping either. There are Daily Show writers that are wetting themselves with glee over the possibility right now. I hear people in the GOP saying that McCain's defeat has brought about real change in the party (or will). Sadly, I think the GOP is going to continue doing what it's always done despite the market (voters) rejection.
