…because the word “hypocrisy” is overused.
Let me see if I have this straight.
John McCain “knows how to win wars” even though his war experience is mostly limited to serving as a POW on the losing side of one of the most ill-advised, mismanaged wars in US History.
John McCain is “going to tackle corruption” in the banking industry and on Wall Street even though he was one of the primary figures in the Keating 5 scandal which rocked the Savings and Loan industry.
John McCain is a “champion of the common man” despite the fact that his source of income and wealth is a rich wife.
John McCain knows what homeowners and small businessmen are going through despite the fact that he has lost count of the number of houses he owns, and has never worked in, much less owned, a private sector company of any size.
At least “Dubya” had the experience of running a company (and a baseball team) into the ground before becoming a full-time politician.
